The Corporate Center Manager is the first contact person for praise, issues, and concerns of our customers from Corporate Real Estate & Workplace Services (CRE & WS). The purpose of this role is to deliver effective Hospitality, Facility and Building Management services as well as ensure a focus on an excellent customer experience.

Your Role

As the Corporate Center Manager your main responsibilities will involve:

Ensuring a gracious arrival experience for all employees, prospective employees and customers while maintaining the necessary level of building safety & security.
Leading and managing food and beverage offerings to ensure the quality and presentation are aligned with Zurich’s high expectations.
Enforcing a level of uncompromising cleanliness, to ensure cleaning responsibilities are executed daily to the highest standard.
Managing the teams of all building operations to ensure highest level of member satisfaction.
Managing all technical aspects within buildings and ensure safe and flawless operation.
Producing comprehensive quality control reports to improve member experience and reviewing all base building documents to ensure the data is updated and accurate.
Ensuring efficient use of space, implementing and maintaining space concepts in accordance with space/use requirements.
Timely planning and reporting of all changes in workplaces and cost-relevant topics to CRE&WS.
Implementation of strategic guidelines in the own area of responsibility (service delivery, general building conditions, organizational strategy, etc.).
Budget planning for FM services and adherence to objectives (planning, adherence to investments).
Optimal processing of small projects and tasks (Small Projects).
Ensuring efficient FM during construction projects as part of capital projects over the entire project cycle.
Administration of all FM contracts in the own area of responsibility (monitoring, management and assurance of the required supplier performance according to the contract in cooperation with the contract & performance team).
SPOC for any strategic Service delivery, logistical and infrastructural requirement resulting from the needs of internal customers, partner functions or external authorities, customers and property owners.
Support in preparation of tender and creation of service catalogue.
Managing order planning, ensuring coordination of implementation and transition of new providers & and services.
Control and continuous improvement of superior quality criteria in the own area of responsibility.
Carry out audits and assessments, measuring customer satisfaction incl. complaint management) and support internal and external audits.
Clean Desk implementation and ensuring all compliance requirements are met in the own area of responsibility.
Ensuring Health & Safety requirements are met according to the SIBE specifications and Evacuation exercises according to the guidelines of the Health & Safety Officer Switzerland.
Implementation of BCM (Building Continuation Management) actions, ensuring emergency and escalation processes.
Monthly environmental reporting, development and implementation of defined actions to increase energy efficiency, waste reduction and support of all sustainability initiatives in coordination with the environmental Manager CH.
Support in Event orders (for auditorium) as well as coordination and management of building tours.

Your Skills and Experience

As the Corporate Center Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

At least 10 years of relevant experience in Facility Management/Hospitality
Experience leading diverse teams
Effective and sensitive communicator with strong people and relationship management skills
Experience in working in a multicultural/international environment
Sound knowledge and understanding of Building Technology Systems
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality/Facility Management or Engineering or equivalent practical working experience
Highly resilient, dedicated and committed character with team spirit and persistent working methods
Proficient German as well as fluent written and spoken English
