Tavolago AG operates the catering on all 5 steamships and 14 motor ships of the SGV and also on land we spoil our customers with culinary delights in several establishments as well as at caterings and large events for up to 5,000 guests.
Your internship will last at least 6 months, with 3 months in the kitchen and 3 months in service. You can complete your internship in the following Tavolago establishments:
We award a combined service-kitchen internship (a) for hotel management school students
This is what there is to do
- Reception, assistance, advice, collection and farewell of guests
- Drinks, à la carte and banquet service
- Operating the cash register with the Vectron cash register system incl. preparing the operator's statement of account
- Creating the mise en place at your own station (in the service and kitchen)
- Preparation and cooking of all dishes at your post
- Ensure the professional handling of food and work equipment
- Compliance with hygiene regulations (HACCP, GHP etc.) and quality regulations
What we want from you
- You are a student at a Swiss hotel management school
- You speak fluent German
- You speak English with advantage
You are motivated, well-positioned and identify with Swiss gastronomy
