For the management of our Atelier Restaurant "Le Tapis Rouge" we are looking for from 1 April2023 or by arrangement a passionate and winning host personality who, with her enthusiasm for gastronomy, creates a unique experience for both her guests and her team.
High above Lake Brienz, you can enjoy everything the Domaine has to offer at "Le Tapis Rouge" amidst history you can touch and surrounded by 22 hectares of nature park: 80 ProSpecieRara and organic vegetables from our own garden, honey from our own bees, fish from Lake Brienz and much more. Together with your small team and chef Barbara Blaser, you bring our guests closer to the Giessbach experience, far away from the stress of everyday life.

What awaits you with us
As a host, you are the first contact for our guests at "Le Tapis Rouge", carry our values and philosophy to the outside world and actively help shape them. With a large portion of cordiality, you not only look after our restaurant guests, but also your small team. With your passion for gastronomy, you will actively shape the guest experience and contribute your ideas. You will have the opportunity to get to know the diverse fauna and flora around the Giessbach and to incorporate your experience in service. As part of the management team of the F&B department, you will also work hand in hand with all area managers and thus ensure the smooth daily running of the entire department. You will also take over the operational management and lead your team. You are the link to the kitchen, help shape the offer and form the interfaces to the other F&B areas as well as to other departments of the Grandhotel.
What you bring with you
- We are looking for a friendly, warm and independent personality with first management experience, who appreciates active work with guests and has a reliable and careful way of working.
- In addition to a very good command of German, you are also preferably proficient in English and French.
- You like to take responsibility and also have an eye for detail.
- You are a passionate restaurateur who appreciates mindful enjoyment with origin and is motivated to help shape our Atelier Restaurant with your own ideas.
- Your manners are impeccable and the interdepartmental team spirit is very important to you.
